INSTRUCTOR: Tom Garcia

Tom Garcia has worked for the City of Fairfield Building Division for over 24 years.
He has been the Building Official since 2001 and served as the Plan Check Engineer from 1982 to 2001.
As Building Official and Plan Check Engineer he has been involved in all aspects of the building division operation.
Tom is a registered civil engineer, ICC certified Plans Examiner, and Certified Building Inspector.
Tom worked as a carpenter part time during 1977 thru 1980 while he attended college at CSU Chico College of Engineering.
In 1992 he designed, engineered and built his personal residence.
